Young Jesuit Priest CDV, ID'd & Signed Washington DC Photographer Goldin 1860s

Original CDV of Reverend Andrew P. Keating (born 1845). Keating grew up in Charlestown and Boston, Massachusetts, and taught at Gonzaga College in Washington, D.C., in the 1860s, when this portrait was probably taken. He was also a professor of philosophy at Georgetown, and conducted parish work in Virginia. He died of pneumonia in New Jersey in 1895, age 50. Signed in ink on the back.

CDV is in very good antique condition overall. 4" x 2.5".
