6th plate tintype of William M. Snyder, 93rd Pennsylvania Infantry. Co. H, killed in action May 5, 1862, Battle of Williamsburg, under the command of General George B. McClellan. Identified inside case. It appears he's holding a cased tintype with some sort of decoration or badge pinned to the pad? Full case, separated covers. Overall condition is very good, behind mat and cover glass with a couple of scratches.
