Original tintype of a young man playing a violin, seated next to a table with a bottle of alcohol and a shot glass sitting on it. On the back is old writing: "Cleve Litteer my uncle, usually called Cap".

This man's full name was Cleveland Ohio Litteer, and he was born in Iowa in March 1857, died in Oklahoma in 1926. He was a farmer. In this early-1870s tintype he would've been about 16-18 years old.

Tintype is in very good antique condition, though it's DETACHED from its its paper mount. It was barely hanging on when I made my scan, but completely detached when I was putting it away. The dimensions of the mount are 4" x 2.5".

Shipping: First Class (flat photo mailer). Boxed Priority Mail is also available at checkout.
