Original 6.5" x 4.25" cabinet card of a woman holding an advertising banner for Mrs. J.N. Kemery. After he husband John died in 1891, Philena / Mary began a small hat making business.. the woman in the photo is wearing one of her creations. She lived in Nellsville from 1867 until her death in 1930.Good antique condition with blank back. The image has smudge marks (possibly cleanable) when viewed at an angle but looks fine viewed straight on. The mount has very minor waviness. Boxed |
