Lot of three 1/9 dags of Stephen Stearns Winchester, his wife Elizabeth Holbrook Bartlett Winchester, and their daughter Lizzie Taylor Winchester. Elizabeth is wearing a beautiful photographic brooch.
According to my research, the Winchesters lived in Boston at the time these photos were taken. Two are in pebbled leather push-button cases, the other is in a nice velvet oval case. Mother and father images have original seals, Lizzie’s has no seals. The father's dag looks like there is a small scratch near the bottom left of the plate, so it's possible his seals are broken. I haven't taken it apart to verify though. Cases are very good and click shut.
