Very Young Civil War Soldier Tintype Photo Cavalry Gloves Gold Painted Buttons
Adding product to your cart
Original ninth-plate (1/9), circa 1864 tintype of a very young soldier in uniform - I'm pretty sure his goatee is drawn or scraped onto the image! His belt buckle, several coat buttons and insignia on his hat have been painted gold, and he's wearing heavy leather cavalry gloves. Tintype is behind it's original mat and glass and comes in a full, intact case with repaired spine. Several bends and spots of image loss. Boxed & insured Priority Mail.
