Rare and original cabinet card photograph of Samuel Clemens, by Pach Brothers, with their 1903 copyright blindstamped into the lower-right corner of the image. Photo shows Clemens with cigar in hand, seated in what might have been his home office.
Some age-related wear and condition issues to the mount as shown, but the photo itself is in very good or better antique condition. The cabinet card measures 6.5" x 4.25". On the back are ink stamps and other writing relating to the Brown Brothers, a previous owner of this photo, that operated as an image licensing service.. not sure if they are even still around...
