Very rare 1896 advertising image for the Owl Saloon in Spokane, Washington, by Loryea. Second example I've personally seen in 30 years. The Owl was Spokane's most famous saloon and gambling house which catered to surrounding mining camps for prospectors embarking on the gold rush to Alaska. Famous patrons included Soapy Smith and Bat Masterson.
Mount is approximately 10" x 7", a bit irregularly and very slightly trimmed along the top edge, with light discoloration there, light surface wear, otherwise very good antique condition. The back is blank with some pencil writing.
Boxed, insured, signed Priority Mail.
