Original, very early CDV of Walter H. Stuart, AKA Texas Jack the One-Armed Whittler. Walter was born in 1850, and the tax stamp dates this to between 1864-1866, so this is a very early (one-of-a-kind?) photo of him.
It is 4" x 2.5" and in very good vintage condition.
