High quality leather album, with customized cover for Andover Theological Seminary Class of 1863. ATS was a Congregationalist seminary founded in 1807 and originally located in Andover, Massachusetts on the campus of Phillips Academy.
Empty album is in excellent antique condition, with pebbled leather covers, gold-edge pages, both brass clasps, and all of its pages. All of the pages have names written on them beneath the photo slots, but they are in pencil and can be erased. The overall page condition is excellent and clean.. a handful have removal tears as seen in my pics.
When closed the album is about 6" x 5" x 2" and will hold 40 CDVs or CDV-sized tintypes.
