Original stereoview, circa 1870, showing an unknown scene in hell, with women having a toast surrounded by demons, and possibly Satan himself.. there is a lot going on! Including several winged demons, one in mid-flight.
The colorist tinted the flames a deep red, it's pretty ominous looking when viewed through a lighted background.
The scene is not familiar to me, possibly a very rare diableries stereo.
Overall I'd say it's in very good to excellent antique condition.. there is some sort of paper residue stuck on the back, but the image and tissue are in excellent undamaged condition. Dimensions are 6.25" x 3.25".
