Extremely rare CDV of Lotta Crabtree playing a banjo, photographed at Germon's, Philadelphia. On the back is a spot for a Civil War tax stamp, so this photo dates to circa 1865. Slightly trimmed to 3.75" tall by about 2.5" wide. Light crease upper-left, minor edge wear; the main viewable area of this rare image is in very good or better antique condition.
