Two original 1860s cartes de visite of young women dressed up for a political march. They are wearing hand-tinted, patriotic costumes with what look like cockade ribbons around their necks, striped "flag" pants, and colored dresses and sashes. Both have the identical studio imprint of Teague of Lewiston, Maine. Dimensions are approximately 4" x 2.5". The one on the right is slightly under 2.5", looks like the right edge was probably trimmed. Apart from that they are in excellent condition.
