Two early-1850s daguerreotypes, a quarter-plate and a sixth-plate of the same child, in their original frames, the larger one still retaining its original studio label, that of E. Fixon (Pierre Eugène Fixon) of Paris, France.
Very good or better antique condition as a pair, with one or two minor issues that do not detract from the images.
The larger frame is about 6" tall by 5.5" wide.
