Three sixth-plate daguerreotypes of a husband and wife. These were taken in one sitting by photographer Thomas Hutchinson, of Philadelphia, whose info is embossed on all three of the velvet pads. Note that the woman's pose is slightly different in each photo.
All three dags are housed in their original, full cases. Dags no longer have their original seals, but are in very good condition as a set with a few minor mat abrasions, spots and/or mold spiders, and tarnish. The cases are very nice overall, the man's covers are separated.
