Rare collection of three original 1898 cabinet card photos showing scenes from the "Carnival of Fun", a four-day festival of parades, Midway acts, music and games held in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Ads and souvenirs from the event showed people in devil and jester costumes, among others.
There are tons of details, including business signs, people in windows, a man in a mask leading a parade, lots of movement, bicycles, and so much more - three great scenes.
The cabinet cards are all 6.5" x 4.25", and all with Electra Photo Co., Grand Rapids, imprints on the back. In excellent vintage condition as a whole, with only a few areas of light soiling.
