1850s 1/6 photo case by Kinsley & Parker. This case is considered rare and has K&P's unique hinges.
Case is dark brown and in excellent condition, with light wear. I do not notice any damage - no cracks or chips, and the hinges are tight. Case clicks closed. It will be very difficult to find a nicer example of this rare case. About 4" x 3.5" closed.
