Two original, circa 1900 cabinet cards showing students at Illinois College of Photography in Effingham, Illinois. The school had several notable graduates who became well-known photographers, some of whom might be identifiable in these photos, including many from other countries. The first Japanese student was Tamau Nozaki, who came directly from Japan to enroll in 1900 - that must be him seen in both photos.
Both cabinet cards have the "Illinois College of Photography, Effingham, Ill" blind stamps
on the mounts.
Cabinet cards are 6.5" x 4.25" with blank backs, as produced, and in very good to excellent antique condition.
Boxed insured Priority Mail.
