Original CDV showing Detroit, Michigan storefronts that include Watson's Daguerrean gallery. Studio backmark, J.J. Bardwell of Detroit, with cancelled 2-cent Civil War tax stamp.. looks like the date of the cancellation is 1866.

Very good antique condition overall, though it appears to be slightly trimmed, measuring 4" x 2 3/8". Note that the double borders are all there, it's just that the left side of the image is laid over the ones along the left side.
