Original CDV showing two tinted, crossed Confederate battle flags with "C.S.A." in tinted gold letters below. In period ink somebody also wrote in Latin, "Surgebam" and "Resurgam" ("I will rise again"?) and some dates, one looks to be 1863 or 1865, a bit hard for me to read. Studio imprint on the back is for Fayetteville, North Carolina photographer E. Hunt.
