Rare circa 1876 CDV of Mrs. Maxwell, the naturalist and taxidermist, "In the Field", posing with her Evans repeating rifle and her kill. Imprint on the back reads Mrs. M.A. Maxwell, Boulder, Colorado. Very good antique condition with a bumped upper-right corner tip. 4" x 2.5".
