Original late-1890s cabinet card photo of a little goat. He's wearing a collar and a hat that I am almost certain
says "HMS Dido", which was an Eclipse-class British navy cruiser built in 1896, launched in 1898 and stationed in
Hong Kong (where this photo was taken) until 1901. I believe the HMS Dido was still active during WWI.
Cabinet card is 6.5" x 4.25". It has a few condition issues, including a STABLE and pretty flat vertical split, in the picture - NOT a crease in the mount). The back is blank (no imprint or other info), pink in color like the front, and in good condition, with light wear.
