Original late-1880s, circa 1890 cabinet card of an unidentified snake charmer sideshow woman, in costume, with a large snake draped around her neck. This is an image I have never seen before and I don't recognize the performer; considering that the photographer was a small floating gallery (literally a travelling studio located on a river), this was likely a very small operation and only a small handful of this exact image were ever made.
The exact location of the studio is unknown, but there was a photographer named Nowack around Minneapolis at this time.... "Nowach" could've been an alternate spelling of the name that he used.
Cabinet card is 6.5" x 4.25". Good or better antique condition with light corner wear and corner bumps, light soiling. The back is blank with light soiling but is not damaged.
Shipping: First Class (flat photo mailer). Boxed Priority Mail is also available at checkout.
