This original case was made about 1857. Its covers show a great family scene of a woman and her daughter posing with the family dog and cat. Inside are 4 1/9th plate ambrotypes of a family. Case is dark brown and measures about 4.75" x 3" when closed.
Overall good antique condition with some small chips and case wear. Hopefully the pics show the condition but if you have any questions just ask.
