Interesting original early 1870s tintype showing a young woman seated next to a table on which sits a glass parlor dome with what appears to be a memorial piece inside - unsure of the material, but almost certainly wax, with little flowers that have been arranged in the shape of a harp with visible strings - the harp was frequently, but not exclusively, used in 19th Century / Victorian death and memorial symbolism.
Tintype is about 4" x 2.5" and in very good antique condition overall with several light bends.
