Mid-1840s sixth-plate dag of a young girl with her elbow resting on a small book. This was originally part of an estate lot with identified Gray family members. Her parents might have been Chauncey and Belinda Gray.
Mat is stamped Plumbe, and the outside of the case has an imprint of Plumbe manufacturer, NY. Very good or excellent antique condition.. no damage noted... spots are on the glass... original seals were intact last I checked. The case is intact but the spine is weak. Boxed shipping.
