Original 1860s leather Photo Album filled with original images of the Corvallis, Oregon area pioneer Locke family, who came over from Missouri across the Oregon Trail in 1847, and their relatives by marriage, Cauthorn family.
The index page is numbered with corresponding IDs, and there is additional info (full names and dob, dod dates) written on most Album pages.
There are 12 double sided pages and 25 total photos, most being CDVs, with a a couple of tintypes.
The album is in overall very good antique condition, the only issue being the covers have become detached from the spine.. the photos themselves are in generally very good or better antique condition. Album is about 6” x 5” x 1.5” when closed.
