Original mid-1860s carte de visite of William Gannaway "Parson" Brownlow (August 29, 1805 – April 29, 1877) was an American newspaper editor, minister, and politician. He served as Governor of Tennessee from 1865 to 1869 and as a United States Senator from Tennessee from 1869 to 1875.
Very good antique condition overall with some foxing. The bottom is very slightly cropped, perhaps 1/16 of an inch.
The "MORD" is just a watermark, it's not on the actual CDV.
