Two items in this set: An original c.1875 CDV and an original, period engraving, both of the pretty young murder victim Josie Langmaid. 17-year-old Josie was a student at Pembroke Academy in NH when she disappeared on Oct 4, 1875.. That night her mutilated body was found in the woods near the school, and the next day her head was found one half mile away.
CDV is about 4" x 2.5" and is in very good antique condition. The engraving is slightly shorter than the CDV with minor condition issues. The back is blank.
