[ MATHEW BRADY ] 1/4 Plate Double-Sided Ambrotype of a Little Boy

Quarter-plate ambrotype of a little boy in a dress, by Mathew Brady, whose studio imprint is on the front mat. This is a double-sided ambrotype in one of Brady's signature flip style cases. My scans show both sides.

Ambrotype is in excellent condition, no damage noted. 

The leather case is complete, though BOTH covers are detached, with wear to the leather from an earlier spine repair.
