Everything shown, out of a single estate. The family was the Harding & Wells families of Virginia, West Virginia. Several images from the original lot were identified and are listed in separate auctions.
This lot consists of ambrotypes and tintypes, and one trimmed down CDV that has been placed in a case. One is of a little girl holding a doll in her lap, that one was an ambrotype, I think.. I'd have to check. The largest image is a 1/4 ambrotype, the others are mostly ambrotypes, I believe, with a couple/few tintypes mixed in. If you want the format of specific image(s) let me know.
Condition varies, overall the lot is good. The union cases have pretty heavy damage, the other cases have separated covers. The photos are in overall Good antique condition, some with condition issues, some with age-related darkening, solarization.... have a look and if you have any questions please ask before committing to purchase.
