Lot of 8 antique photos consisting of 7 cartes de visite and 1 tintype. The ones with studio imprints were taken by Dakota Territory, Minnesota and Iowa photographers.
The man with the beard was Raymond Burdett Griffin, who was a lawyer in Manchester, Iowa, and the boy was his son Clement. Ray was photographed in Northfield, Minnesota, home of the infamous James-Younger gang bank robbery attempt there in 1876.
CDVs are approximately 4" x 2.5". Lot as a whole is in very good or better condition.
