Sixteen original Civil War era / c. 1865 CDVs. Only ONE has a studio imprint of a San Francisco photographer, the rest are blank. However, these were once part of a larger lot of CDVs all purchased together, and quite a few had Northern California cities, including San Francisco, Vallejo, Stockton, and even the mining town Canon City. So while all but one of these have studio imprints, I do believe they were likely all taken either in San Francisco or surrounding cities, and possibly as far north as Trinity County.
