Original CDV of Jennings Seminary in Aurora, Illinois. Jennings Seminary was established in 1855 under the name of Clark Seminary in honor of Reverend John Clark, a Methodist clergyman who first projected the institution. At first, the school was coeducational, but in 1900, it became a seminary for girls. In 1864, Elza Jennings gave $15,000.00 toward the endowment of the seminary and consequently, the name was changed from Clark to Jennings Seminary.

CDV is 4" x 2.5" and in VG antique condition.
