Lot of six tintypes of members of the McQuown/ Porter family and friends, relatives. McQuown and Porters lived in Kansas and Iowa, for the most part.. the patriarch of the family, Robert, was a photographer in Binghampton Township, Iowa. The 1/6 tintype of Ellen McQuown dates to the Civil War era.. she died young, in 1880.
