Large leather photo album, 1860s. Measuring about 13" x 10" when closed and over 5lbs.
Included are original CDVs & cabinet cards, many of notable people, landscapes, royalty. Flipping through I've seen a handful of rare portraits.
In total there are 162 photos, including royalty, scientists, military figures, landscapes. The CDVs are in excellent to near mint condition and are NOT trimmed. The album is in very good antique condition with only minor page tears inside, some wear to the leather, and some leather pieces missing on the spine.
