Hand Tinted Antique Ambrotype Photo Cute (Sleeping?) Dog - Circa 1860

Original, late-1850s/c.1860 ninth-plate ambrotype photo of a well-behaved (or just sleeping) dog, posed by himself on a hand-tinted covered table.

Ambrotype is on clear glass behind mat, in a full case. Case is 3" tall when closed.

Very good antique condition... the case covers are separated.
