6th plate daguerreotype of a man and his son. Tarnish ring and a few tiny mold spiders, otherwise in excellent undamaged condition. The original seals were intact but broke when I took the dag out of the case to examine it.. I put them back in the case. So the dag is unsealed but it's secure in the case with no movement.
Case is intact and complete, in excellent condition with no repairs. It has not been cleaned in any way or soaked in silver cleaner to remove its original tarnish.
