Two sixth-plate daguerreotypes of little girls, probably sisters, housed in a very nice, double-sided / flip mother-of-pearl "Token" case. On of the girls appears to be wearing a hat.
Based on the backdrop, trellis and chair, the photographer can be identified as Thomas P. Collins, of Westfield, Massachusetts.
I also have listed another daguerreotype by Collins of a handsome young man, which came out of the same estate as the girls. I believe the girls were the little sisters of this man, and likely taken in the same sitting. You can find the man's dag by searching my listings for "Collins", or just messaging me for the link,
The dags are still sealed and appear to be in excellent condition. The spots all appear to be stuck to the underside of the glass and cleanable. The MOP case is in very good or excellent antique condition.
