1/6 daguerreotype of a pretty woman by Dexter of Albany, New York. The outside of the case is marked DEXTER and ALBANY.
NO COVER GLASS. but the mat and plate are extremely tight in the case and won't fall out. The dag is in pretty good antique condition.. there is tarnish, a LIGHT SWIPE in the background to the left of her head and a few random tiny scratches, none of which take away from a great image - and dags by Dexter are not easy to find.
Case is in excellent antique condition with light leather wear and no repairs.
