Two oval daguerreotypes, the first a portrait of a handsome man with sideburns, the second of a woman and little girl.
These were purchased together - notice the preservers have the same design, so the sitters were almost certainly a man and his wife and child, probably photographed on the same day.
Both dags are uncased, behind glass. Dimensions of the man's dag are about 2.25" x 1.75". The woman and child, 3" x 2.5".
Both dags have tarnish but I do not see any damage. The lines in the lower-left area of the man's dag are TARNISH lines.
