Sixth-plate daguerreotype in full case, with separated covers. Nice image... no longer
sealed. Looking very closely under magnification I think I see some tiny mat abrasions,
but these could be fuzz. Tarnish ring.. what look like scratches to the glass in the center
of the image between the boys.
