Sixth-plate c1850s daguerreotype photo of a bearded man, identified with period note behind case as Bengerman Schroyer, who died at the age of 78. From the same Philadelphia estate as the other ID'd Schroyer dag I have listed. In full case with separated covers. Some corrosion spots, haze, tarnish... most of the original seals are broken but still in place.
