6th plate daguerreotype, sealed, in full, intact leather case that is complete with no repairs. Man with styled hair, a goatee style beard. Is he wearing a robe? Like a judicial style robe? I can't tell. Image
is fresh out of a Clarence, New York estate, but there is no ID.
The underside of the glass is very dirty, there is a tarnish ring and random tarnish spots visible when viewed at an angle, but the dag appears to be in excellent condition as far as damage goes... Looking under magnification I do not see any issues whatsoever, not even a mold spider...
