Original leather album, 18 double-sided pages, completely filled with with 36 original circa 1879 CDVs of famous people, musicians, poets, writers. They CDVs are 4" x 2.5" each. They are all identified in neat pen on the album pages beneath the photos:

These come up individually time to time, but you're not going to find them in better condition than these ones!
I was able to remove the first one for this listing to show the full CDV, the others I did not want to remove because they've probably been in there since the day they were put in 145 years ago, and I didn't want to damage the album pages..... But from what I can see without removing them, all of the CDVs appear to be the E. Hader, Berlin signature series, having facsimile signatures printed on the mounts. The CDVs are NOT glued into the album, they can all be removed from the album if you are careful about it.
The album and the CDVs are in EXCELLENT antique condition overall. A few CDVs have some light foxing, I noticed. The album is missing its clasp, otherwise in great condition. Pages are not fragile or loose.
