Original c.1890 cabinet card of two Aurora, Missouri newspapermen or editors at work with Lawrence County and Aurora, Missouri papers spread on a table. in 1885 galena ore was discovered when digging a well on the farm of Thomas D. Liles, marking the beginning of Aurora as a mining town.

Cabinet card is 6.5" x 4.25" with blank back and is in very good or better antique condition overall.
