Original circa 1850 half-plate daguerreotype photo of a cranky little boy in a blue tunic and short pants. He's wearing a belt with something tucked into it and stands next to a small table (also hand colored) that has several items on it. Also notice the base of a posing stand behind him. Mat is stamped POLLOCK / Balto. This was Henry Pollock out of Baltimore, Maryland. I have provided a scan and a camera photo. If you have any questions, please ask before buying.
Housed in a nice full case with a great floral and butterfly design on the front.
Resealed with archival tape on April 19, 2014. Several small mat abrasions and scattered mold and/or dust spiders. No other dings, swipes, or scratches. Case is very nice with light wear. The halves are separated along the spine. Both clasps are present and functional.
