Great set of original, 1880s/1890s photographs, the first showing a man in military, sports, or
musician's uniform posing with his highwheel bicycle, and the second, a MINIATURE of the
same photo! The miniature photograph is also original, an antique albumen image measuring
only about 1 inch tall. The larger photo, the cabinet card, is 6.5" x 4.25".
The man and studio are not identified, however, this photo was originally in an album with many
cabinet cards from California photographers, and I own another cabinet card of him taken at
around the same time by Lenz of SAN DIEGO, Ca. So I believe this photo was almost certainly
taken in California, and likely in San Diego.
Cabinet card is in very good to excellent antique condition with blank, clean back. The miniature
photo has wear and light wrinkles, but is a great, rare addition that makes this set special.
