Original circa 1860, sixth-plate tintype photo of a dog relaxing on the front porch of a house. Tintype is behind glass and housed in its original late-1850s thermoplastic photo case, oval design, with a nice raised, floral design on its covers (same design on both front and back), and original manufacturer's label inside. Case is 3.5" x about 3" when closed and is in overall very good antique condition, complete and intact with one or two minor issues. The tintype is in overall excellent antique condition with one minor scuff near the bottom-right, probably from having made contact with the frame at some point. NOTE: The light-colored, square shape at about 6 o'clock is some residue on the OUTSIDE of the glass and can be cleaned off.. I just forgot to. The tintype is slightly LOOSE in the case, so it should be handled with care, or it could fall out. Shipping: Boxed & insured Priority Mail.
