Original circa 1863 1/6 tintype photo of some contraption! I believe it's a cigar or tobacco press, but I don't know for sure, but definitely unusual and pretty rare subject matter.
The tintype measures approximately 3.25" x 2.75" and its in very good antique condition, with light surface wear - if you look close you can see traces of the original brass mat.. at one time this was in a full case, behind glass... a pretty meaningful image to somebody.
